let it snow... once.

i am not a big fan of snow. i am however a huge fan of the first snow fall.
and while that is what most of our friends were getting to enjoy this weekend
we had frozen rain.

what's worst is my gmail was mocking me everytime i signed on by telling me
it was snowing and displaying a big snowman.

so i would get all excited and run to the window and now, still just rain.
this happened about four times.

check it out

rhianne was very kind
in asking me to write up a little something for diamond in the rough.
stop on over if you would like to see oliver looking very not amused
with a christmas bow on his head.

if you don't see me around for about a week it is because
it is dreaded finals and project time.
although that probably means you will see more of me
because i do love myself some good procrastination.

i sure wish i could do my studying here. it would probably be a lot
more enjoyable than a library. it would probably be a lot more enjoyable
than my apartment.

oh goodness

too cute.

How???

december is here already!! how did this happen?
it is finally starting to get cold here.
i am not really liking it as i am never one to dress appropriately
in terms of proper shoes and a real warm coat.

20 more days until no more school (for-EVER)
21 more days until we hop on a plane to florida to see my family
24 more days until Christmas!!

Happy December!

well that didn't last long...

this morning right before i was about to walk out the door
oliver knocked our christmas tree right over.
glass broken everywhere
water all over
tears flowing.

i don't know what we are going to do with him.
or our tree.

first christmas

we did some serious holiday decorating this weekend.
this is a very exciting christmas...
it is our first christmas living together
and it is oliver's first christmas ever

he learned some important things:

1. christmas trees smell SO good

2. christmas trees make for good hide-outs
when you steal craft supplies

3. christmas trees are filled with toys

4. christmas trees are for climbing

this is what scott and i have learned:

1. we LOVE decorating for christmas together
